470 Series Baffle FAA/PMA

E-225 Baffle FAA/PMA

We are the only ones out there making replacement baffle for the E225 community. Our baffle is twice as thick as OEM and twice as thick solves cooling problems because our baffle doesn’t flex. Thin baffle folds backwards with ram air (this is why your OEM baffle is cracked).

 

Our 225 baffle comes as seen unassembled in treated aluminum

 

  1. Back plate,

  2. cylinder angle  

  3. 2 blast tubes

*All parts are twice as thick as factory parts

 

Note: We do not make the oil cooler bracket because its .090 and usually cleans up nicely.

 

  1. Clean and Install Oil cooler to New Baffle with screws and rivets.

  2. Install Baffle and Oil cooler assy. to engine.

  3. Locate blast tubes same as OEM (#8 screws)

  4. Remove the baffle and spray some primer up the tube to mark the location of the holes

  5. Remove the blast tube and cut the hole in the baffle then reinstall blast tubes

  6. Reinstall Baffle

 

Note 470:

  • Baffle is shipped pre-assembled in treated aluminum.

  • We do not have the inner-cylinder or front baffle pieces PMAed as this usually isn’t bad.

  • Our baffle is twice as thick as OEM and twice as thick solves cooling problems because our baffle doesn’t flex. Thin baffle folds backwards with ram air (this is why your OEM baffle is cracked).

  • Installs in half hour or so
